Thank you so much for purchasing (or considering purchasing) one of my bandanas!
To keep your bandana looking its best, I recommend gently hand washing with cold water and hanging it to dry. You can also machine wash it on cold with similar colors, but always hang dry to help preserve the fabric and prevent it from shrinking.
For stains, I recommend spot cleaning the bandana using cold water and a mild soap, gently scrubbing the area with your hands. Avoid drying the bandana, especially in a dryer, until the stain is fully removed. This tip works fairly well with most apparel!
If you're planning to display your bandana as wall art, keep it out of direct sunlight to avoid the artwork from fading. If it will be in sunlight, I highly recommend using UV-protective anti-glare glass in a frame to extend the vibrancy of the artwork.
If you have any other questions regarding the bandanas, please feel free to contact me HERE

My life’s goal is to use my art for activism, to evoke newfound feelings of inspiration, connectivity, and empathy in viewers, to support myself as a full-time artist, and to use any excess funds to support my community. If you would like to learn more about my goals for this business, check out my About Me page HERE and my art studio goals HERE.

For me, that is a very loaded question. I have always had a short attention span due to ADHD and so I have had short bursts of fixations on many different art forms. I have recently come to the conclusion that I am a multidisciplinary artist.
The most common for me has been digital paintings over the past few years now due to the convenience of it, but I am slowly but surely getting back into more traditional artworks such as oil pastels and acrylic painting. Everything else is jumbled into a big hot pot; portraits, graphic design, murals, textiles, sculpting, landscapes, etc.

As I take more clients, I’ve learned that some of the art lingo I use is confusing to non-artist! So here is my attempt to clear the air :)
Thumbnail: A creative draft which comes before the rendering process of a final draft. This is how I figure out color, composition, size, etc.
Render: The process of cleaning up and finalizing an art piece.
Composition: The placement of subjects in an art piece on a canvas.
Medium/media: This is what art materials are used. Ex: graphite, acrylic paint, oil pastel, etc.
Color scheme/ color palette: The colors chosen for a piece. For example, I could say that the color scheme for a piece is pink, teal, blue, and purple. That would be my color scheme/palette to follow along with while I’m drafting out thumbnails.
Commission: This is a specific custom project requested by an outside party.
Mixed-media: This is an art piece that has more than one main medium. Ex: gouache and black ink.
If there are ever any other terms I use or other artists use that you would like more info on when working with me, please don’t hesitate to contact me HERE

When calculating the price of a product (before shipping and taxes), I do my best to include the price for my hourly rate ($35-$45 per hour), packaging, a percentage of the cost of materials used, and any necessary fees depending on the product.
I will NEVER charge you for anything unnecessary or make up any reasons for why you should be paying more. I want to be fair to my customers but also fair to myself. I am a new business owner, so pricing will definitely change depending on the success of my business and my basic necessities.
I plan to always offer products that are as affordable as possible, so as my business becomes more and more successful, I want to be sure to lower the price of products that I can afford to lower while raising the price of certain products or services as I learn more about what is fair for both parties.
-
Unfortunately, I cannot afford to charge the same price per commission. Each commission is unique and has its own individual process; some will take more time and materials than others. If you are interested in commissioning me but aren’t sure of the cost, please fill out my commission form HERE to request a quote.

Please never use my art for any reason without my consent. If you would like to use my art for any reason, please go to my contact page and email me about your request HERE.
If you happen to just be inspired by my art and would like to use it as a reference, then please feel free to do so as long as you aren’t copying my work for a profit! If this is the case for you, I would appreciate it if you could tag me if you decide to post it online. I would love to see the art of anybody who I happen to inspire ♥

I want to do everything in my power to be sure that my products are either biodegradable and/or made of sustainable and ethically sourced materials. It will be a journey that will start out slow for sure, but I am eager to reach my goal of having a near 100% eco-friendly business.

(As of right now, donations are under construction but I have some info you may find interesting on that page!)
